Steve Britten

Birding and Photography

Maximizing your opportunities, minimizing your frustrations.  An illustrated presentation.

Basement Hall, St Anthony’s Church, 2337 Inglewood Avenue, West Vancouver

7:30pm, Monday, March 19th, 2012

Steve Britten has spent two-thirds of his life in pursuit of the perfect marriage between his two passions: birding and photography.

Having grown up in South Africa and having worked as a photo safari tour guide in Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe he was able to take his camera to some of the best birding spots on the African continent.

He has also spent time as a TV camera operator, reporter, and freelance writer & photographer, and currently works with an environmental publishing company in North Vancouver.

Steve has enjoyed photography and birding all over the world: the only continent he has not yet visited is Antarctica - and he stresses that it is on his bucket list.
